Everything went better than expected!

A while ago my art teacher had set up a still life for us and we were given charcoal and ink to draw it. Apparently, we were told to concentrate on getting a full bike onto our paper. Which is where I went wrong. I thought we were just allowed to draw whatever, so that's exactly what I did, only to find out after I was finished that I did the very thing I was told not to do.

Amazingly, my drawing made it into the display cabinet.

Wolf Scratchboard

This scratchboard was a (very late) christmas present for a friend.

Tiger Scratchboard

I figured I'll start with my first scratchboard. In my art 2 class sophomore year, we were assigned a scratchboard project. We were all told to choose an animal, and since I've always loved tigers, I went with that. After it was completed and hung in the hall someone (no idea who, they wished to remain anonymous) bought it for $50. My first sale!

A Brief Word

I've been meaning to create a blog dedicated entirely to my art for a while, and at last I have done so. It only took me a few years to get around to it.

As afore mentioned, this blog will be composed of my art, both complete and in progress photos.

For now, that is all.
